The piano has over 8000 parts which must be finely adjusted so that they work together to produce a warm sound and smooth action. Over time the piano may no longer sound or play so smoothly and evenly. This is caused by compaction of felts, wear from use, changes in climate and the general quality and age of the instrument. This can be corrected with many fine adjustments to the piano.

When we visit to tune your piano we will provide minor repairs as part of the tuning service to enable the piano to be tuned and maintain its standard. However to get the best out of the piano we may recommend that a full regulation be done. You will find the piano more pleasurable and easier to play after this work has beencompleted.

If required this regulation would be done at a separate visit and we will provide you an estimate after tuning and inspection.
