Pianos can fall victim to a variety of mishaps. Vermin such as mice and moths can destroy the felt parts of the piano. Liquids and heavy objects dropped into the piano can damage vital parts. Amateur attempts to repair pianos may also require specialist attention. Usually though it is normal wear and tear over time that causes the damage to the internal parts.

If this is the case, we will remove the piano action and the keyboard to our workshop for an overhaul.

Piano actions are dismantled and worn parts are replaced and adjusted. We also renovate keyboards byrecovering them with new key-tops, blackening the sharps, leveling, regulating and weighting the keyboard action.

This will extend the life of the piano and restore a smooth and even action.
